I’ve had a number of people ask me how to invade other worlds in Dark Souls 2 – here’s a very quick version of how to do it.

The short version is that you need to be human, not in Majula and then use a Cracked Red Eye Orb. You can find a Cracked Red Eye Orb during the tutorial section by taking the first fog door to the right after visiting with the old women. When you get to the section where you need to jump over a small missing section of the path, instead look to your right and climb the ladder. Follow along there until you drop down into a room and look for a door. Behind that door is a Cracked Red Eye Orb.

You can find a number of Orbs around the world (the wiki page linked above has a list), and you can also get them by becoming a member of the Brotherhood of Blood and winning a duel. You’ll also be able to buy them from the Brotherhood of Blood covenant master once you hit New Game +.
